FINANCIAL PROPOSAL

 

Here is a look at the money that CCSC allocated this year and INSIGHT's proposal for next year. This is a look at only programs which CCSC is the sole operator of, which means that CCSC is the only one funding these programs. We are not proposing specific dollar amounts for programs with multiple operators, such as the Joint Council Co-Sponsorship Fund (JCCC), because all four student councils pay into those in ratio, and a decrease/increase in funding from us would affect how much those councils put in. However, we do advocate for the expansion of the JCCC and look forward to funding student groups and enhancing student life through the four school funds.

 

The main idea of this page is that we will decrease the CCSC budget by 20% ($26,500) and increase funding to student groups by that much every year (not just once), via F@CU and funds that the councils oversee such as JCCC and Capital Investments Fund.
